Hello,

My name is Riju Samanta. I am a passionate cinematographer based in Mumbai, India. I have trained in Cinematography from Whistling Woods International and started my career as an Assistant Cinematographer in the year 2010. Later in 2015, I started off as an independent professional. With more than 13 years of experience in the business, I've had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with some talented filmmakers from India and abroad. Each project has been an unique adventure, and I've learned something everyday.  I believe that cinematography is much more than any technique;  it is so much of an art that captures the essence of the story. My duty is to let the visuals do the talking, so you won't catch me blabbering on about it too much (well, maybe just a little).
